I think there is something beautiful to be found in everything and everyone. When I go to a photo shoot, I'm never worried about what you are wearing or where we are. I just want to find what makes you beautiful. What makes your family relationships beautiful? What makes your unique connection beautiful? What is uniquely yours that makes you beautiful? I'm not still not sure how you take a picture of who a person is on the inside but that is what I want to find out. That's my goal every time I pick up my camera.

I feel like photography has fallen into my lap and I'm not sure how I ever lived without it. It seems that it was always there...waiting patiently for me. I'm very grateful for it and the people in my life who encourage me. I'm especially grateful to Analee who got the ball rolling by asking me to take her wedding pictures. For Stacey for pointing me in the right direction. For my parents for listening to me ramble, being encouraging, and offering advice. And the rest of my family and friends who have offered so much encouragement and so many opportunities. Thank you!

Besides photography, I work full-time for the Athletic Media Relations office at BYU. I love music...I can't live without it. I love the Red Sox and try to see them play in real life at least once a year. I love reading and would fill my house with books if I could. I love to quilt...the good old fashion way...all by hand. And I love traveling...mostly to see my family that is spread out. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints and love and value my religion for it teaches me who I am and in whom I can trust.
